Megan & Blake's wedding at Crystal Cliffs, in Antigonish, was a beautiful celebration of love and family! With fantastic speeches, gorgeous florals by Homespun Design Co., amazing hair by Tanya Milnes and makeup by Stacey Wallace Breen, the day was nothing short of perfect. Eastbound kept the party alive with fantastic DJ and live music, while STFX Conference Services offered delicious catering and Jana Locke’s cake was a true masterpiece. Megan's stunning dress was from Chester & Felicity! Despite the weather's unpredictability, the rain held off just long enough for all the unforgettable moments. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness for Megan and Blake!

Lifestyle newborn sessions in your home are my favourite way to celebrate the arrival of your newest addition! I do offer a bundle option so you can capture both amazing milestones, maternity and newborn session, at a discount! I will travel to your home during this special time, for your newborn session. And please keep in mind that I do not expect you to have a perfectly tidy home, if you have piles of laundry or dirty dishes in the sink, I promise I won’t even notice! The early weeks with a baby are all consuming, I know. We can take our time and work at baby’s pace!
Despite the rain, Amelia + Logan has the most beautiful wedding day! The breathtaking views at the Keltic Lodge at the Highlands were the perfect backdrop for a day filled with heartfelt moments. Every detail, from the beautiful florals by Trinity's Florals to the flawless hair and makeup by Danielle Grasley Makeup, came together seamlessly. A special thanks to Belle & Thistle Events for their amazing planning, ensuring everything was just right and videography by the talented Margaret Jourdan Studios. Give me all the overcast beach sessions! I love a moody sky and an enthusiastic family! When it comes to kids, they pace your family session. And even if it feels like they aren’t quite cooperating, please don’t stress, as I believe it’s best to let kids be kids and not force them to do anything they’re not comfortable with. I’m very patient, friendly and approachable and will help guide your session so that you’re left with beautiful moments, even if there’s no big “cheesy” smiles! I assure you, your kids are amazing no matter their mood and I have several tricks up my sleeve to encourage them to have a great time!
I had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful love story at the Immaculate Conception Parish, in Truro, NS. Allie + Isaac were married and celebrated by loved ones and serenaded by the bride's talented mom during the ceremony. The wedding reception at the Inn on Prince in Truro was perfect. The stunning florals by McKeans Flowers added a touch of elegance, and the bride's stunning dress from Chester and Felicity was the cherry on top of a perfect day. Taylor + Dylan’s celebration at their beautiful Pictou County venue had all the autumn vibes! From the florals, decor to the dresses and amazing details, this was a perfect October setting. Decor by Country Mamma’s Rentals is always a delight, she can add magic to your day no matter your vision! Ahead of Hair and Randi Cotter MUA had the ladies looking stunning and Taco Bros had everyone’s bellies feeling warm and happy! What an amazing day celebrating these two newlyweds! Congrats!
Pictou County has got to have some of the best beaches! Caribou / Munro’s Island Provincial Park, also known locally as Simpson’s Beach is a stellar spot to dip your toes in the sand and cool off in the Atlantic Ocean. I’m happy to be your local Pictou Photographer for anything coastal. My favourite place to be is anywhere near the water!
K + D tied the knot amongst family and friends at Parker’s Barn in Hopewell Nova Scotia. What a gorgeous county setting for the ceremony and reception! Pictou County Wedding Venues are all unique and Parker’s boasts a lovely hillside field behind their large red barn that hosts the best kind of party! Each year I like to host limited mini session on the beach. Northern Nova Scotia has such stunning beaches and although it’s hard to choose just one, Caribou/Munro’s Island Provincial beach was the perfect spot for hosting these minis this year. We had a blast in the beach grass and splashing in the Atlantic Ocean. Mini Sessions are perfect for families with little ones. Often, you may think that your little one(s) may have a hard time sitting still or lasting for a full hour photo session. You know your kid(s) best, so a mini session being only 15 minutes long could be the perfect time to catch some smiles and move on! If you’re at all nervous about your kid(s) with photos, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m more than happy to ease your worries and rest assured, there’s always cuteness to be captured no matter what. These sessions are not only for those with little ones though, it’s geared towards literally anyone who’d like some updated photos. Fox Harb’r Resort is such a lovely setting for all things wedding! M prepped for the day with her girls in a suite on the golf course. Surrounded by your besties is a fun way to get your day started! Followed by a first look at their covered bridge. We carted across the stunning property for various photo locations, ending with the resort’s vineyard! As a venue, Fox Harb’r is the hostess with the mostest!
The Northumberland Strait offers stunning views for this seaside ceremony in Pictou, Nova Scotia. I absolutely love when the locations chosen are sentimental in nature.
